The Figures:

Stills photography, normally up to 50 prints to be kept on a shelf "somewhere" after viewing once. Each image capturing on average. .008 second, total time captured to memory – just under one half of a second. In most cases not capturing the essence of the occasion, but a false sense of what it should be.

DVD video footage. As it happens, real and unrehearsed, shot by professional cameramen and edited down to a DVD to be kept in your collection and easily viewed whenever you wish, total time captured about 14000 seconds. Can include messages and good wishes by arrangement.

To make a good film requires long hours of preparation and editing even after the shoot, and this would be the highest cost of a good wedding film. To make a one day event documentary film to last an hour would usually take a minimum of three weeks, and cost in the region of  £5000, and this should be the cost of a well made wedding DVD film covering the whole day. If you find a cheap option (and you will!) just take a moment to think about the costs of a professionally made film.

You can even have your friends take video for you at a much reduced cost if you are prepared to suffer the unsteady and low quality pictures. Never forget too, that they (your friends and family) are your guests, and may not wish to or indeed be able to work constantly recording everything through the day,

and you’ll only have one chance!

We at Prime have an alternative to offer. Cut out the expensive editing option, simply editing the real time footage from our two cameras This very limited edit would cut almost £4000 from the budget.
